Joshua Tree For Engagement Photos and More
People travel from all over the world to experience this unique desert landscape and it’s energy. Jtree is known for it’s epic desert landscapes with the rare and dense Joshua Tree itself, just a couple hours outside of L.A. You’ll see a lot of artists make their way to this area to detach, focus on their art and connect with the quiet and thought-provoking beauty around them. You may know about the Joshua Tree from the famous band U2 and their album, U2 – ‘The Joshua Tree’. We love this energy and the vibe we feel with each and every couple that we get to experience it with. It’s an overwhelming sense of peace and connected-ness. What better stage to be on when documenting your relationship story?
If you’re visiting Southern California and drawn to the desert landscape (agave, cholla, Joshua tree, yucca plant, golden tones, 360 sunsets and sunrises) and thinking of a place to have your engagement, elopement or wedding pictures taken – consider Joshua Tree. We’ll be your area guides and elopement wedding or engagement photographers in a heartbeat.

why we loved their adventure
Here’s the thing about these two. Megan & Ryan live outside of Seattle, WA. So they have plenty of options for a gorgeous backdrops nearby. But in true Megan & Ryan style – adventure had to be mixed in. When a trip to Joshua Tree just happened to land in their path, it only made sense to have their engagement photos there.
Hell yes dude. Hell. Yes. If you love to adventure together as a couple, and your favorite memories are on trips– make a trip or adventure a part of how you celebrate YOU. We love when our couples follow the path that makes them come alive and sparks the chemistry of their real dynamic.
Also – any couple that’s down to kick-off and finish their session with a celebratory cheers, are total soul mates to us. Allen and I always bring our couples fav bevs along with some champagne- but Megan and Ryan came even more prepared. We kicked off their session with a celebratory toast and had a total blast running around Joshua Tree together. We finished their session with a champagne toast and group cheers with Ryan’s dad and stepmom. We totally didn’t want the fun to end. They even invited me out for dinner and some beers in town afterward. Best couple ever.
